Whipped (Dalgona) Coffee - A Korean Speciality

Seeing all the creamy, airy, yummy looking coffee posts lately, I had only one question: how to do it. Now. At home preferably, due to the quarantine circumstances… Aaand finally I found first the name of this type of coffee specialty (Whipped or Dalgona coffee), then the trick on how to make it DIY. Guys, trust me it’s much easier than you think. No need for pricey coffee machines (bad news for the coffee machine seller companies, good news for us), or any fancy coffee equipment.

All You Need:

  • Instant coffee – 1 tbsp (tried with perked coffee, failed)
  • Sugar or Honey – 1 tbsp (I use honey, I think it’s even more yummy)
  • Water – 4 tbsp
  • Mixer
  • Bowl
  • Your favorite mug

How To Do It:

Whip together instant coffee, sugar and water in a bowl till you get a beige cloud-like, airy foam. Pour it over a glass of (plant) milk, and thank me later. :D
