DIY Simple Plant Hanger
May 09, 2020
Still hang in there? Better be, 'cuz I'm about to show you how to do a simple boho plant hanger in literally 5 minutes. It's cute, practical and crazy simple. Start the timer, and let's go!
YOU WILL NEED:
- Jute or any kind of string that you have at home (8 pieces, 1 meter each)
- Pot or finished candle holder
Cut 8 pieces of string, all the same length. Hold them together and tie a little knot at the end of the string.
Pop it over the bottom of your pot, place 2 strings per direction so we get the basic shape of the hanger.
Measure with your fingers the edge of the pot and tie a knot. Do the exact same at the same length for the other 3 directions of string so it's gonna be balanced.
Take one string from 2 directions next to each other, measure where you want the next knot and tie the 2 strings together. Repeat with the other 3 directions and try to knot them all at the same level.
Pop it on to your pot, measure again where you want to have the last knot just at the top. Take it off and repeat the exact same process you did before. Take one string from either deriction and tie it together.
Get your pot back and just pop the hanger on so you can hang it with a cute plant inside anywhere you'd like to.
